On Tuesday, July 6 at 6 PM, we hosted the Santa Barbara County Promotores Network to learn the most current information about the COVID-19 vaccine. This session answers your questions and concerns! We will also heard from young people at Future Leaders of America about their own experiences.

We hosted this event with Planned Parenthood California Central Coast to raise awareness about this issue of reproductive justice! In the state of California, doctors forcibly sterilized over 20,000 individuals between 1909 and 1979. Since 1980, forced sterilizations have continued in prisons and detention centers. The film, No Más Bebés, highlights the legal battle in Madrigal v. Quilligan that helped to shift the tides against this horrific practice.
The event was in Spanish with live interpretation in English and Mixteco.
